This itinerary is suitable for everyone, with a moderate difference in altitude of 150 meters, perfect for a walk in the name of tranquility and beauty.

To begin this hike, you can conveniently park your car at the Pratorotondo refuge, at 1098 meters above sea level. The trail, marked with the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri signpost, is located right in front of the refuge. You follow a dirt road, closed to traffic and marked with the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, crossing meadows to a panoramic point overlooking the coast.
We continue towards the Casa della Miniera and then to Prato Ferretto, where we turn left following the Rio della Serra. At the end of the Rio della Serra valley we follow the path to the Lago della Biscia, from which we easily return to the asphalt road that connects Pianpaludo with the Pratorotondo refuge.
To get to the start of the route we have prepared a Google Maps link with the best itinerary to reach the Pratorotondo refuge. It will take about 1 hour by car from the chalet.
